Goodwell Logeya

Goodwell is a well-blended and refined activist whose resilient work is recognized by the Frontline Human Rights Defenders. He studied liberation and public theology where issues of national governance and solutions to man’s struggles were prominent. He had personally contributed to the growth of Malawi’s democracy. Since 2002, he had been writing -in various newspapers- against corruption and impunity. He had advocated for transparency and accountability in the country. He once served the people through Public Affairs Committee (PAC) district structures, Malawi Economic Justice Network (MEJN), National Initiative for Civic Education as Para-Civic Educator (NICE-PCE), Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM district Coordinator). At the earliest age, he had horned relevant skills to engage with leaders in civic space. From 2012-2018, he had worked in various banks and financial institutions where he learned to interpret and apply some of the economic paradigms.

Jack Mbemba

Dip. Accounting, BA, MPHL (University of Malawi, Chancellor College) -Integrated Leadership Transformation Action Coordinator

Jack holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Humanities; and MA in Philosophy from the University of Malawi, with focus on Environmental Ethics. He is associate lecturer at the University of Malawi, where he lectures in Human rights, Ethics, Political Philosophy and Environmental Philosophy. Prior to his graduate studies, Jack studied Financial Accounting (ICAM), with a keen interest in Auditing. He has a wide experience in working with both local and international non-profit making organizations such as the European Coalition for Positive People; Mulanje Mission Hospital, the Anglican Church, Friends of Mulanje Orphans, among others. His wide experience brings a positive stride to LITA’s growing agenda of fostering transformational leadership in both government and civil society leadership which is on the wane. He spearheads capacity building, leadership mainstreaming, strategic management and helps in building solidarity among our consortium members.

Gift Matsimbe

Dip. Accounting, B.Acc. (Nkhoma UNiversity), Bsc Community Development (Pentecostal Life University)- National Alliance for Civic Participation Coordinator

His extensive work in auditing and accounting bring to LITA a unique financial prudence that promotes internal transparency and accountability. He has more than 5 years of experience in financial reporting, tax compliance reports, internal auditing, risk management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, credit management, Inventory control, and many more. His knowledge and experience in both finance and development work fit him for this challenging role at Lita. He has passion for civic engagement work, with demonstrable experience in organizing, mobilizing, networking and collaborating with other civil society organizations and stakeholders to build a strong alliance for collective citizen voice, an agenda that Lita strives for.

Irvine Mromwa

Dip.Edu (Domasi), Bsc Agribusiness, Msc Agribusiness (LUANAR)- Integrated Livelihoods Transformation Action Coordinator

Trained as a teacher at Domasi College of Education, and Lilongwe  University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) as an Agribusiness  Management specialist, he brings to LITA over ten years of facilitation and teaching skills. His participatory methodology in community livelihoods transformation and ability to work within strict deadlines, his self-discipline and passion for empowering the grassroots poor suitably make him the best fit for leading LITA’s innovations and technological paradigms of transforming lives through sustainable livelihoods interventions.
